Sweetheart Festival

The Loveland Sweetheart Festival, an annual two-day event that takes place near Valentine’s Day every year in Loveland, wrapped up its suite of downtown events on Saturday.  The event is held outdoors in February at the Foundry which is a crap shoot but good to know that strapping people of Loveland can handle the cold.  The festival is hosted by Miss Loveland Valentine.  This lucky lady is selected each November after a lengthy application and audition process.  

The Loveland Sweetheart Dance features live music from a variety of local and regional bands and performers, playing a range of dance styles, including ballroom, swing, country, and contemporary music. The dance typically takes place in a large venue decorated with romantic themes, such as hearts, flowers, and candles, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

The Loveland Sweetheart Dance also offers a range of activities and amenities for attendees, such as photo booths, refreshments, and a cash bar. Dress code is usually semi-formal or formal attire, and attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best outfits to celebrate the occasion.

The Loveland Sweetheart Dance is organized by the Loveland Parks and Recreation Department and is open to anyone over the age of 18. It is a fun and romantic way to celebrate Valentine's Day and spend time with loved ones.
